What better venue than the scenic Flint Hills. We have a variety of facilities for both a ceremony and reception for the wedding of your dreams. Our on site lodging is a great addition to accommodate your guests.

Weddings & Receptions

Rock Springs 4-H Leadership Center consists of over 735 acres surrounded by the beautiful Kansas Flint Hills. This scenic facility has been hosting a variety of events for over 70 years, and has several sites and overnight accommodations available for your upcoming wedding and reception.

Outdoor Wedding Sites

Wa Shun Ga Outdoor Chapel

Complete with rustic wooden benches that seat approximately 75 people, this outdoor chapel has a gorgeous natural backdrop year round. A large, white wooden cross is affixed to the stone creek bank. The gentle flow of relaxing stream water and rustling of leaves will set the tone for your wedding.

 

Additional seating in the form of folding chairs or hay bales can be provided upon request.

 

This outdoor chapel is located just a short walk from Wiedemann Dining Hall and/or the Wa Shun Ga Pavilion, the perfect venue for your wedding reception.

Creekside at Wa Shun Ga

This grassy slope in the Wa Shun Ga area overlooks one of Rock Springs’ canoeing areas. The natural slope of the land, along with the beautiful tree line backdrop, make the Creekside ideal for your wedding site. Seating in the form of folding chairs or hay bales can be provided upon request.

 

This spot is located just a short walk from Wiedemann Dining Hall and/or the Wa Shun Ga Pavilion, the perfect venue for your wedding reception.

Spring Plaza

What do you get when you put two waterfalls, one water wheel, a trout pond, beautifully landscaped walking paths with benched sitting areas, two lighted shelters, lots of patio space, and a large staircase with tasteful, recessed lighting together? The Spring Plaza.

Meditation Chapel

The Meditation Chapel offers the perfect indoor option for your intimate wedding needs.

Wildflower Gazebo

This beautiful gazebo is situated at the entry way of Rock Springs’ Dorothy Akin Griffin Wildflower Walk. A variety of wildflowers and native tall grasses grow along the nearby walking trail. The views from this gazebo look out amongst rolling Flint Hills.

Vesper Lookout

Historically, Vesper Lookout has been a popular wedding site. The scenic views atop Vesper overlook afford panoramic perspective of the surrounding Flint Hills.
