Yes, once you have viewed Rock Springs in person, you may place a 10 calendar day hold on any available date and venue without a deposit. After this period, a contract and deposit are required to hold dates and venues.
Rock Springs offers affordable and delicious catering menus, and tastings can be arranged through our Food Service Director. Outside caterers, while not encouraged, are allowed provided they are licensed and insured for your event. This includes cake vendors.
While we wish all weddings could have the perfect weather day, Rock Springs is not liable for any weather related occurrences. Refunds will not be given for weather related changes. We may have other groups on grounds during your wedding, and may not be able to provide back-up options on that day if they were not arranged in advance. If you are concerned about potential weather related issues, it is recommended you book an indoor venue or pavilion along with your primary location, or arrange for a tent rental, to guarantee you will have an alternative available. Our staff can assist you in exploring options.
Insurance is not required to use Rock Springs. However, we strongly recommend you look into one-day event coverage for yourself and the venue. Guests are responsible for any damages caused by their party. Check with your personal insurance company for information, or speak with our Guest Services Director about options that might be available through vendors that work with Rock Springs.
