Camp Corral provides a meaningful and exciting camp experience for kids whose lives have been affected by a veteran's disability. This program is free to participants. Families pay only for transportation to and from camp. This nonprofit program is sponsored by the Golden Corral restaurants working with Rock Springs 4-H Center to serve the children of military service members. Visit http://www.campcorral.org for more information.
This weeklong program includes traditional summer camp activities such as campfires with s'mores, sports and recreation, archery, swimming, arts and crafts, low ropes challenge courses and other fun classes and activities with a great group of counselors.
Priority is given to children of wounded, disabled, or fallen military service members. Children of military service members who have not been wounded in action may also apply, but they will be assigned to the waiting list. Also, children and youth must be between the ages of 8-15 during the week of camp. This means that your child must have been born on or after July 20, 1997 and before July 15, 2005.
